I remember when Harry first played it to me. That one I didn’t write, but I remember when I first heard it. We were in Wessex Studio for a week. I kept asking why he wanted to call it ‘If I Could Fly.’ It’s a great song, so it doesn’t really matter what it’s called, does it?
Julian in Rolling Stone on how Harry insisted that the song be titled If I Could Fly. (via hershelstagram)
you know @corbindewitt also said this and i totally respect yall’s opinion but i also respectfully disagree, on the theory that WITW is about gracefully separating and saying goodbye in an atmosphere of love and remembrance – two hands pulled gently apart by the parting of the boats – whereas the marauders exploded in a hideous conflagration of blood, madness and confusion followed by a couple of decades of various kinds of internalized rage, followed by two seconds of being Kind Of Okay and then MORE blood, and i just can’t imagine them ever having the time or emotional space to get all touchy-feely Harry “I’ve Been to Therapy” Styles melancholy about it #OneMansOpinion
