Sure, I COULD be working on any of the million tasks on my to-do list, but personally I feel pinning pictures of Harry Styles to my “fashion inspo” Pinterest board is a much better use of my time.
There’s this really awesome thing that happens throughout the last chorus of “Half A Heart” that you might’ve missed if you haven’t been listening carefully (through a stereo feed) with a good set of headphones.
Here’s what’s happening: the first bit that plays is the isolated left channel. Listen and you’ll hear the melody as well as a harsher high harmony sung by one Mr. Liam Payne. The second part is the isolated right channel. It’s the exact same part – this time with the melody and a mellower (though more prominent) low harmony. Also sung by one Mr. Liam Payne.
The last bit is the actual song as it is on the album. Basically, into your left ear, Liam is singing the high harmony and into your right ear he’s singing the low harmony.
