why is niall so sharp, he’s the one the boys look to when trying to remember someone’s name he knew their south america tour schedule like the back of his hand listing countries he’s never been to with so much familiarity and he’s aware of the local politics of the various cities he’s visited and his memory is impeccable he has strong conceptual and linear understanding of history rmr when liam joked about columbus existing in the 1920s and niall immediately responded “oh yeah the 1920s he must be doing well for himself living that long” like he never skips a beat he is so analytical and resourceful and we don’t talk about this enough and i just love niall

and rmr when he started talking politics & education reform in an interview in Ausit’s like he’s the secret brain of the band but it doesn’t match with his public *image*so they keep it on the DL (@funreadingchick)

And let’s not forget his amazing knowledge of languages. I remember him saying a few Dutch words when the boys were on RTL Late Night in The Netherlands last year and as a Dutch person i can say I was impressed, cause Dutch is a difficult language. And let’s not forget all the other times we’ve heard Niall speak a different language. I’m always impressed by his language skills.
